Chris and Steph married in a wedding that fulfilled all of her childhood dreams. Their special day included village church ceremony and a vintage tea party style reception. The day even included some photos with the bride’s beloved horse!
The Happy Couple
Steph and Chris met in their local pub in July 2010. She was celebrating the end of her first year of teaching, and he was out for a friend’s birthday. They got chatting and exchanged numbers.
However, the next day neither of them could find each other’s number! Luckily, Chris’s best friend managed to track Steph down through Facebook, and passed his number on to her.
The couple had been together for about two and a half years and had just bought their first house when Chris surprised Steph by proposing to her on New Year’s Eve, whilst on a family ski holiday in the Alps. She was so stunned she nearly fell down the stairs!
The thoughtful groom presented his bride with a custom made ring – he’d designed it with Steph’s horse riding hobby in mind, making sure the diamond didn’t stick out too much so it wouldn’t catch on her horse.
