Alisdair and Stacey were so keen to get married at The Old Library in the Custard Factory that they moved their wedding date forward by more than a year, giving them just five months to plan their wedding.
The huge and historic location made for great pictures, and provided a perfect blank canvas for their colour scheme, which was influence by Alisdair’s family tartan, and the green in the groomsmen’s tartan. The tables were decorated with cream roses in vases tied in tartan ribbon. Stacey and her bridesmaids also visited the venue ahead of the wedding to place bunches of green and silver balloons around the room.
Guests were served a three course meal, created by the Custard Factory’s caterers, and had two choices for each course. For the evening, the couple arranged for a nearby Subway to provide platters of sandwiches.
