Stacey and Alisdair were married in a Church of England ceremony at St Mary’s Church, Selly Oak, Birmingham. Stacey’s father walked her down the aisle to the traditional ‘Wedding March’. The soon to be wed pair along with their guests sang hymns that everyone knew the words to, including ‘Lord of the Dance’ and ‘Amazing Grace’. A friend of the couple, Alistair, gave a reading, as it was his party they met at.
Stacey wanted a wedding ring that would fit with the unusual shape of her engagement ring, so during their wedding plans, the couple went to Birmingham’s jewellery quarter to get a ring custom made. Her ring was made by Mokume, and whilst they were there Alisdair found his wedding ring, which was made of white and yellow gold.
