Stacey & Alisdair’s Real Wedding

Stacey and Alisdair met over four years ago, at a mutual friend’s birthday party. After three and a half years together, Alisdair decided to make Stacey his wife, and after carrying the ring around for two weeks, he proposed outside the Town Hall in Birmingham City Centre.

The bride knew she didn’t want a strapless dress, which made it a little difficult when dress hunting. Stacey visited Boots ahead of her wedding day for a beauty consultation. An expert was able to explain the best brands to use to last all day, and provided advice on colours and styles.

On the morning of her wedding, Stacey and her bridesmaids did their own hair and make-up, and made a girly party of it. Stacey struggled to find styles that would work with her short hairstyle, but dressed up her sleek locks with a headband style tiara from Jon Richards at Debenhams.
