Stacey and Alisdair met over four years ago, at a mutual friend’s birthday party. After three and a half years together, Alisdair decided to make Stacey his wife, and after carrying the ring around for two weeks, he proposed outside the Town Hall in Birmingham City Centre.
Alisdair had been waiting for the perfect moment to propose to Stacey, and had been carrying the stunning black and white diamond ring he’d chosen for a fortnight. The right time came when they met up after work in Birmingham and took a stroll through the city. Stacey put her hand in Alisdair’s pocket to get some sweets, and he suggested she try the other pocket, where he was keeping the engagement ring.
She was delighted to discover the gorgeous ring, and gladly accepted his proposal. They planned to get married in October 2013, until they found out the venue they loved would be changing hands in July 2012. Stacey and Alisdair were adamant they wanted to marry there, so they talked it over and decided to change the date, giving themselves just five months to plan their dream wedding!
