The couple hired a family friend to create their wedding flowers. Christine at Haynes Boutique provided the vintage themed flowers. Simonne opted for traditional flowers such as roses and lilies in her bouquet, mixed with edgy thistles to go with the groom’s kilt – he’s not Scottish, but wanted something different for his wedding day look! She wanted hints of purple in the flowers, but not too much, so vintage roses in pastel shades and creamy lilies added extra colour to the displays.
Glittering diamante pins studded some of the roses, adding a bit of extra sparkle to the bride’s bouquet.
Continuing with the rustic, vintage look, two large milk urns filled with flowers decorated the table where Chris and Simonne signed the register as husband and wife.
