Chris and Simonne met in a doctor’s waiting room in Harley Street. They had been dating for nine months when Chris popped the question. A three year engagement followed before the couple became husband and wife at The Park Inn, in a pink and purple themed wedding.
Husband and Wife
Simonne was having a really bad day during the May bank holiday in 2009. She had been working all day, got sunburnt, had been stuck in traffic and was now running late. Little did she know what Chris had on his mind, which was to make her day so much better! She was rushing around trying to get ready, when Chris got down on one knee, told her he loved her and asked to marry her.
It was so unexpected but Simonne was so excited. They chose the ring together and originally opted for a white gold ring with a princess cut diamond. However, Simonne’s finger started to blister and became really sore. They returned to the jewellers to find out that Simonne was allergic to the white gold ring. She now has a yellow gold ring, and no blisters! The couple celebrated their engagement with a party in the October, as they knew they wanted a long engagement.
