Sian and John gave their guests home-made hearts as wedding favours. They doubled up as chair decorations. Sian made some from the leftover fabric from her wedding dress, and embellished them with sequins and glitter. Others were made from wicker and sprayed cream, whilst some guests received metal hearts which could hold tea lights. The personal and touching gifts were well received.
Sian gave her new husband silver, heart-shaped locket cufflinks containing photos of his father and brother, who have both passed away, so he was able to keep them close whilst he got married. She also gave him an engraved pocket watch and a handy book called ‘How to be a Good Husband’!
The newlyweds gave the groomsmen cufflinks, the bridesmaid Natalie received earrings, and Lauren, Natalie’s new step-sister received a bracelet as a ‘thank you’ for participating.
