Grant and Sheonagh treated each of their guests to a miniature bottle of wine as a wedding favour. The favours doubled up as place cards by having a vintage brown luggage label with the guests’ names on attached to each one.
For those at the wedding who were under the age of 18, the bride and groom filled up jars with sweets so they didn’t miss out on a treat.
Sheonagh’s brother gave a ‘father of the bride’ speech, and touched on how proud her dad would have been to see her get married.
Before the groom’s speech, they opened a bottle of whisky which the bride had once given to her dad as a gift for a special occasion, and toasted absent friends and family in his honour, as he would have bought the first round had he been there.
