Sharn and Tom tied the knot at their parish church, St. Johns the Baptist! The church was very special to the bride as being situated in the village where she’d grown up, Sharn had imagined getting married in that church since she was a little girl.
Sharn was nervous waiting with her dad at the doors of the church before her big moment, but as soon as she heard the traditional Bridal Chorus by Wagner start playing, Sharn’s nerves eased slightly and she looked forward more than ever to seeing her groom stand at the top of the aisle.
The couple had purchased their wedding rings four months before their wedding on the weekend of Sharn’s 30th birthday! The couple went to Hatton Garden in London – which took longer to find than the actual rings since they already knew which style of rings they wanted!
During the singing of the register Sharn’s brother and a couple of his friends played the guitar and sang for the wedding guests. They did a cover of Mumford and Sons ‘I Will Wait’ and an original song called ‘Butterflies’ by Flashback Photograph. The newlywed couple walked out of the ceremony to Mendelssohn’s Wedding March!
