Sharn & Tom’s Real Wedding

*Benjamin Roberts Bride of the Month, October 2014* Sharn and Tom celebrated their traditional church wedding with 85 guests during the spring. The bride wore a dream wedding dress by Benjamin Roberts and the couple danced their first dance to a popular John Legend tune towards the end of their celebration. Mexico was the location of choice for their honeymoon and the couple tried to stick to their wedding budget as best they could!

Four Tier Wedding Cake

Tracey Wells of Bakewells, Sharn’s clever aunty, made the four tier, round wedding cake which featured different flavours on each tier! Plenty of wedding cake was left over after the wedding which lasted a few extra weeks and the ivory fondant with pastel décor completed the look of this sumptuous masterpiece!

The newlyweds danced their first dance to John Legends ‘All of Me’ and about a third of the way through the song, the couple’s daughter ran up to her parents. Tom swept her into his arms and the trio danced slowly together as their daughter fell asleep on Tom’s shoulder! ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Queen was the second song played during the evening which kick-started a full hen-party memory. The dancing didn’t stop from then on!

The newlywed couple chose a honeymoon destination that neither of them had been to before but that would suit their needs; the 5 star Grand Sirenis in the Riviera Maya in Mexico was the ultimate honeymoon destination for this couple. The resort was so huge that the newlyweds needed a golf buggy to get from one end to the other and their suite was open plan, with a huge Jacuzzi bath which was used almost every day!
