Selina and Jonathan’s wedding cake was beautifully made by Selina’s Aunt Jeya and it tasted so amazing that everyone wanted to have a copy of the recipe afterwards. One tier was fruit cake, one sponge and the last layer was chocolate. Having 3 different flavours in your wedding cake is great because you are catering for everyone’s taste and it can be served as dessert or to take home after the wedding. The cake topper came from Debenhams and looked very classy sat on the top tier for the wedding photographs.
In the evening the couple had booked a live band to entertain the wedding guests. The band was called Groovestone and they had everyone up and dancing all night.
The newlywed couple went to Hong Kong and Malaysia for their honeymoon and left just the day after the wedding. As Jon’s Grandfather served in Malaysia and Selina’s Mum was born there, it seemed like the perfect location for the happy couple to start their married lives together.
