The Wedding Breakfast

Oliver and Sasha served their guests a true feast at the wedding breakfast. To start, a muffin of Knowsley blush tomatoes, mozzarella and basil pesto was offered to the guests.

The main consisted of a pan fried Goosnargh chicken with Hesketh bank spinach, Knowsley carrot pureé, new potatoes and a grain mustard cream sauce.

The menu was finished off with three types of dessert. Chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream and raspberries was the main desert with tea, coffee and homemade truffles as one alternative and a selection of cheese and biscuits as the other.

The couple also served their gorgeous wedding cake made by The Frostery on the night. They had a three tier white cake with the top tier limonchella flavoured, the middle being a Victoria sponge and a salted caramel bottom tier – how delicious!

They also opted for edible wedding favours on the night, giving each guest a heart shaped biscuit design in white to keep in with the overall theme. Each biscuit had a guest’s name piped onto it in black icing and they used these as a double-up for place names.
