Sarena had originally wanted to get married outdoors which you can do in New Zealand, but this proved to be not so easy here in England. Sarena had done a lot of research online, but did not find a venue that gave them the bright and airy feel that the couple had wanted for their day. Northbrook Park was the first and only venue the couple visited. Northbrook Park is a Grade ll listed eighteenth-century manor house on beautiful grounds with lovely walled gardens. The Vine Room has large doors which were all open during the ceremony, so it was as close to outside as the couple could get.
The theme through out the day was New Zealand meets England so there were lots of ferns and New Zealand references thrown in all over the place. The main colours were a dark forest green and the flowers were all bright yellow calla lilies which were provided by Ring-a-Roses in Woking.
