Sarah and Robert spent 18 months planning their purple themed wedding and reception for a total of 120 guests during July 2013. They celebrated in style with an amazing wedding breakfast, a handmade cake featuring sentimental lace, a sweety bar and a photo booth, before setting off on their once in a lifetime honeymoon to Las Vegas.
Sarah and Robert met a decade ago through mutual friends who are married. The couple ended up working together and their relationship bloomed from there. Sarah booked a day trip to Paris for Robert’s birthday, a year after officially getting together, but she didn’t expect to receive a proposal at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower on their romantic day trip!
Robert, who had planned on proposing at the top of the Eiffel Tower, had secretly bought an engagement ring and carried it with him to Paris, but when thinking about the height of the Tower and his fear of dropping the ring, he decided to propose on solid ground. Sarah of course accepted Roberts’s proposal and the couple spent the next 18 months planning their summer wedding for July 2013.
During their wedding planning Sarah and Robert welcomed their little son Alfie into their family who was immediately given the role of Page Boy at the wedding.
