Sarah and Neil’s wedding cake was made for them by Neil’s sister Karen. The two tiered wedding cake had a lemon flavoured layer, and a classic Victoria sponge tier. The wedding cake was covered with a pale yellow icing and tiny blue sugar paste flowers. Lace ribbon and a floral cake topper added to the delicate vintage theme.
Neil and Sarah recommend accepting family and friends’ offers of help, as they really make a difference when planning – luckily they had a wealth of very talented family members and friends!
After their intimate Easter wedding, the newlyweds headed off on honeymoon to Side, Turkey for an all-inclusive break, staying in a secluded bungalow in the forest, courtesy of Sarah’s dad. It was the perfect chance to relax and enjoy each other’s company after 16 months of planning!
