Sarah and her father were picked up at 12.15 from Penyard House in a white Rolls Royce Silver Seraph. The car took them to Coleford Baptist Church, where the ceremony was taking place. Sarah’s mother and her bridesmaids travelled in a silver Mercedes, supplied by Deputy Driver.
The bride entered the church on the arm of her father to the sound of Canon in D by Pachelbel. The couple and their guests sang Christmas carols during the ceremony and Mark’s sister had been asked to do a reading.
Mark and Sarah exchanged rings bought from H. Samuel and F. Hinds, and were pronounced man and wife! They exited the church to ‘It Feels Like Christmas’ from the Muppets Christmas Carol, sang by the Coleford Community Choir.
