Sarah’s friend Lisa owns a bridal boutique in Solihull called Lisa’s Bridalwear, so having a friend in the business was a huge bonus for the bride-to-be. Sarah, being a girly-girl, wanted to choose a princess-style wedding gown that was extra special, seeing as she’d only be wearing it once. After trying on a number of different dresses whilst living in Australia, Sarah knew the moment she tried on one particular gown that this was ‘the one’.
The simple, princess style, tulle, strapless gown, designed by Benjamin Roberts looked simply divine on Sarah and she couldn’t help but spin around in it and let her hands feel the beautiful material as if the dress were a snowball or cotton candy. The dress was ordered from Lisa’s Bridalwear and arrived in time for Sarah to try it on before her wedding. Lisa, who was also one of the bridesmaids, spent 20 hours shortening the dress, and a unique belt was designed to add a personal touch to the gorgeous gown.
Sarah accessorised with a sparkly beaded tiara, plus earrings and a necklace which had both been given to her by David and her amazing mother to wear especially on the day.
