Sarah & Daniel’s Real Wedding

Sarah and Daniel first met when they were children at primary school! Life took them in different directions though and after losing touch throughout secondary school, they eventually got together and married in a unique 1950s themed wedding! They shared their special day with 80 of their nearest and dearest.

Lilac Flowers

Sarah walked down the aisle with her father to the sound of the classic Bridal March, whilst carrying a beautiful bouquet of lavender, fuchsias and roses, in lilac and ivory. Her bridal bouquet was arranged by Occasions Florist in Dunmow.

Throughout their wedding ceremony Daniel and Sarah had three songs played, ‘Earth Angel’, ‘PS I love you’ and ‘Then He Kissed Me’. Daniel’s sisters both gave readings, and the couple exchanged rings. Sarah’s father had made the wedding rings, and Sarah’s was made from her great grandmother’s wedding ring.

Sarah and Daniel were pronounced husband and wife and it was time to celebrate with a 1950s style tea party reception. The reception was held at the same placed as the ceremony, at the lovely Crabbs Barn.
