Sarah knew exactly what sort of wedding dress she wanted, and didn’t even try any on! She found a pattern for a 1950s dress online, and asked Victoria at Seamless Alterations to make it for her. They edited the design to make it completely unique.
Sarah teamed her wedding dress with a genuine 1950s hat and a pearl necklace that had little brass birds decorating it, which she bought on Etsy. She also wore ‘Dorothy’ vintage shoes, which not only looked pretty but also proved to be sentimental, as Sarah’s grandmother’s name was Dorothy.
The bride had three bridesmaids, her best friend Lindsey, and Daniel’s two sisters, Christina and Victoria. The girls wore purple polka-dot dresses ordered online from Vivien of Holloway, with hair flowers made by Lindsey, the maid of honour.
