The tables at Sarah and Dan’s wedding reception were decorated with shabby chic birdcages, filled with ivy, baby’s breath and burgundy roses. As each table was named after a different type of sweet – in honour of sweet-mad Dan and his son – a large jar of those sweets were included on the tables.
The couple also provided favours for their guests which doubled up as place cards. Every guest received a jar of Haribo rings and love hearts, decorated with a burgundy ribbon and a hand stamped luggage tag.
Sarah also made her own confetti by stamping out shapes from old, discoloured books she found in charity shops. This was scattered across the tables with delicate burgundy petals.
