The wedding cake was made up of three tiers. Each tier was a different flavour, with lemon, ginger and marbled chocolate layers to suit every taste. The gorgeous wedding cake was decorated to match the lace on Sara’s beautiful wedding dress, and it was scattered with edible silver snowflakes to match the festive theme. The beautiful cake, which was served up with the evening buffet, came from Catherine’s Cakes in Caversham.
George and Sara shared their first dance to ‘Kiss the Girl’ from the Little Mermaid, inspired by Sara’s fishtail gown dress. They also had ‘marryoke’ at their wedding reception, wedding themed karaoke, which was very well received.
The newlyweds plan to celebrate their marriage with a luxurious honeymoon to Cuba in January, booked through Thomson. They chose Cuba as George wanted culture, Sara wanted salsa and they both wanted sunshine!
