Samantha and Graham opted to have a laid back, country garden style wedding party. The couple were married in a local town hall and celebrated their nuptials in a marquee that had been put up in the garden of the bride’s parents. A total of 120 guests shared Samantha and Graham’s special day, before they set off to the Far East to celebrate their marriage with an interesting honeymoon.
Mr & Mrs
Samantha and Graham met whilst on a night out in Huddersfield, celebrating the birthday of two mutual friends. Little did they know that this particular night out would change their lives forever.
The couple dated for two years, before Graham decided to plan a very unique proposal.
Samantha, who is a teacher, came home from work on the last day of term and found red roses laid out on the floor, spelling ‘Marry Me’. Graham was bent down on one knee holding a ring box. The ring box, however, actually contained a 3cm statue of the Eiffel Tower. After his proposal, Graham pronounced that the couple would be spending the February half term in the romantic city of Paris!
Seeing as Samantha isn’t a huge fan of rings, Graham though it best to leave choosing an engagement ring up to his bride-to-be. In the end it took Samantha a full month to decide on something she loved – followed by 18 months worth of wedding planning.
