Sam & Grant’s Real Wedding

Sam and Grant spent two years planning their retro come vintage wedding which took place during August 2012.  80 guests were invited to the ceremony with a further 40 guests joining the newlyweds for a fun-filled marquee wedding reception which was held in the grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel.

Something Blue

As an alternative to the traditional floral bouquet, Sam wanted something unique, that could be kept and treasured forever. During their wedding planning the couple found a company online called Beau Buttons, who offered the perfect solution – the Button Bouquet. They incorporated all of Sam’s ideas and retro details to create a truly personal and bespoke bouquet.

Sam’s bouquet contained a range of teal and blue vintage buttons and love hearts sweet buttons to tie in with the wedding cake, ladies favours and sweet buffet. A blue Lego brick was also included to match Grant’s cufflinks and buttonhole, and the letters S&G to made Sam’s bouquet completely unique.

The floral order also included 6 smaller bridesmaids bouquets, 10 x buttonholes, 3 x corsages and a button clip for the flower girls.
