For the civil ceremony, he wore a blue suit – suggested by Ruth so he stood out from the guests.
At the Hindu ceremony, Ruth walked down the aisle with her mum’s brother to a Bollywood song. The bride is not revealed to the groom until part way through the ceremony so she sat behind a veil held up by Jaisal’s cousins.
For the civil ceremony Ruth’s father walked her down the aisle to ‘Feeling Good’ by Muse. The couple exchanged custom made, engraved wedding rings.
