A pretty garden, retro-vintage theme was scattered throughout the marquee wedding reception which worked beautifully during the midst of summer. Unfortunately it did rain a little bit, but not too much that the guests couldn’t enjoy the grounds of the garden, just outside the marquee.
The tables were decorated with a simple white table cloth, cutlery and glasses. A floral cut out of wall paper was then added to each table, where a bottle of champagne, red, white and rose wine, along with a jug of water were placed.
The marquee was decorated with pastel and floral bunting throughout, along with mini jam jars decorated with polka dot pastel bows and twine filled with flowers. Balloons lined the driveway and the 30 additional evening guests were shown the way to the marquee by hand-made wedding signs. Straw bales had been laid out around the garden for guests to sit on later in the evening and as the sun went down, the garden was illuminated with candles.
