Rochelle & Darren’s Real Wedding

After two years of planning, Rochelle and Darren married in a beautiful Christmastime winter wedding. The wedding had a warm and romantic pink and silver colour scheme, and was attended by 120 of the couple’s closest friends and family.

Traditional Ceremony

The traditional church ceremony took place at 1pm. Rochelle walked down the aisle with her father to the sound of ‘Marry Me’ by Train – a favourite song of both Rochelle and Darren.

The bride carried a beautiful bouquet in pink and white. She’d really wanted peonies, but as they were out of season the florist included a few silk peonies in amongst the fresh roses, and you couldn’t tell the difference. Pearls and diamantes added a touch of sparkle to the arrangement.

As it was Christmas, the couple chose festive hymns to be sang throughout the service, including ‘Good King Wenceslas’ and ‘Silent Night’.  Darren’s sister gave a reading, before the bride and groom exchanged rings and vows, and became husband and wife.
