Richard and Rhiannon became husband and wife in a traditional Roman Catholic nuptial mass held at Iglesia De San Francisco De Paula in the village of Ràfol d'Almúnia.
Before the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cava and tapas at the local bar before walking through the village to the church. Rhiannon felt so nervous walking down the aisle and held on to her father for dear life! She carried a stunning bouquet of pretty, vintage themed flowers arranged by Heidi Francis, a local florist. She walked to the sound of her Aunty Mary playing Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D’, which is the same music her parents had at their wedding.
The ceremony was very personal to the couple as they had plenty of family involvement, including readings from Rhiannon’s cousin and Richard’s sister, and the bride’s younger cousins leading the offertory procession.
