It was impossible for Rebekah to miss Sean when they met whilst on a night out – he was 6”3, and due to a broken ankle, was ambling around on crutches. They soon began dating, and as they walked their four Springer Spaniels on the beach on their one year anniversary, Sean got down on one knee and proposed.
Being an electrician, Sean presented his bride to be with a temporary ring fashioned out of electrical wire. When Rebekah accepted his proposal, he arranged to have a ring custom made to suit her tastes, as he knew she wasn’t a fan of delicate, dainty engagement rings.
The excited couple spent the next two years planning a fun and relaxed wedding, with a garden fete mixed with a music festival theme. 450 guests attended their wedding, which was a traditional church ceremony followed by an amazing reception in a pub garden.
