Tom and Rebecca became husband and wife in a very simple, laidback civil ceremony. They wanted the main focus to be on the vows with no distractions. The wedding started at 12pm as they wanted to make as much of the day as possible.
The bride walked down the aisle by herself – she didn’t like the idea of anyone ‘giving’ her away – as ‘Forever’ by Turin Brakes played. The song is so special to the couple and the timing of it worked perfectly with the walk down the aisle.
They asked one of Rebecca’s best friends to read out an extract from ‘A Lovely Love Story’ by Edward Monkton, as Tom loves dinosaurs. The couple then exchanged vows and rings bought from thebeautifulcompany.co.uk.
