The female wedding guest received a small pot of honey as a wedding favour which had been collected by Stephen’s mother who enjoys keeping bee’s. The male guests received pots of jam. Each little jar had been personalised with the newlywed couples names and the wedding date and finished off with, lavender, gingham patterned material. ‘Spread the love’ labels were attached to the pots of jam and ‘Bee happy’ were added to the honey. A seriously sweet touch!
A further 30 guests were invited to the wedding later on in the evening and everyone danced on a twinkle lit dance floor to the music played by Craig from Hipswing. At 8pm the wedding party was ushered outside to witness a surprise gift from the Father of the Bride. It was an aerobatics display by the British champion in a tiny plane. The flying display was exhilarating to watch and exciting to see happening right above the marquee.
The newlywed couple cut through a delicious three tier carrot cake and set off on their honeymoon to Bangkok and Koh Samui just two days after their wedding celebration.
Both Rebecca and Stephen agree that their wedding day was the best day of their lives.
