Rebecca and Sid cut through a naked wedding cake, designed by Lily Cupcake, which was smothered in fresh fruit and sat on a slice of tree, complete with natural moss, ivy and English rose vines.
Their wedding cake was five tiers tall and the cake topper featured two ornate fondant hearts. Each layer was flavoured differently, to incorporate everyone’s taste. Layer one was chocolate, layer two was cherry, layer three was Madagascar vanilla with rose petal jelly, layer four was lemon zest with lemon cream and lemon curd and layer five was vanilla with a violet jelly filling. Wedding cake was served as dessert, before the evening entertainment commenced.
The newlywed couple have an incredible honeymoon planned for early 2013 where they’ll visit the Arctic Circle! They have dreams of seeing the Northern lights, spending the night in a glass igloo, and they’ve also booked a midnight reindeer safari which should truly be the experience of a life time!
