Wedding attire for the Groom and his party were all hired from York Hire Wear, based in York city centre. Richard and Rebecca chose this particular suit hire company because they had a wide range of formal wear with a variety of different looks. They also offered a service which colour matched cravats – which was handy for coordinating perfectly with the bridesmaids.
Richard and Rebecca went as a couple to choose the colour and style of the suits. In the end they chose a black morning suit with tails, grey pinstriped trousers, white shirts with a Victorian collar, black patent shoes, cufflinks and top hats.
The grooms men had gold waistcoats with cravats made out of the same material as the bridesmaid dresses and the groom had an ivory waistcoat with a gold tread detail and an ivory cravat made out of the same material as Rebecca’s wedding dress. Rebecca wanted the groom’s men to look traditional so that it kept in theme with the rest of their traditional wedding.
