The newlywed couple cut through a traditional round white iced cake from M&S which they decorated themselves. They also ordered a cutting bar so that there was enough cake to go round. 2 tiers of sponge and 1 tier of fruit cake was topped with a pair of love birds and some mini-bunting; matching the theme and colour scheme of this unique wedding perfectly.
Instead of having one big honeymoon to celebrate their marriage, Rebecca and Matt decided to head off on two mini-moons. Their first romantic trip was a three night break to Loch Lomond which took place one week after the wedding, and their second was a little break to Cornwall. The couple love walking holidays as it means that they can take their much loved dog, Alfie, with them.
The only thing that Rebecca would have changed, if anything, would have been to be slightly more organized when it came to preparing the wedding favours – as she was up until midnight the night before finishing them off. Other than that, their whole wedding experience was simply perfect.
