Rebecca and her father arrived at the church in a vintage fire engine which the newlywed couple then used again to transport them to the wedding reception.
Alan is a fire fighter so the couple were also able to have a guard of honour from the Market Harborough fire station present for photographs.
The ceremony took place at 2pm and Rebecca’s father walked her down the aisle to ‘I don’t know much, but I know I love you’ by Aaron Nevill and Linda Ronstadt. Rebecca’s Great Aunty Sheena did a religious reading and her mum read a poem which she wrote herself for her daughter and new husband.
They signed the register to ‘Wedding Day’ by the Bee Gees and walked out of the church to ‘All You Need is Love’ by the Beatles.
