Jon and Re chose to get married at the rustic and romantic Caswell House, a converted barn in Oxfordshire. They’d looked at five venues before, but fell for Caswell House straightaway. They made it their own by decorating it with wicker decorations, homemade bunting and paper chains.
Jon arrived at the venue on his grandfather’s bike. Bikes are a huge part of the couple’s life so it was only right he should turn up on a special one for his wedding day.
The bride walked down the aisle with her father at her side to the sound of Etta James’s ‘At Last’. The university sweethearts exchanged rings bought from Primo Jewellery, and listened to Re’s sister and Jon’s brother read out a poem together that was written about the newlyweds. One of Re’s bridesmaids also read out a poem that she’d presented to the couple shortly after they got engaged.
