Rachel and Rob cut into a traditional three tiered wedding cake, covered in white icing and wrapped with a festive dark green ribbon. The couple chose a lemon sponge cake filling as they wanted something quite light to follow their rich wedding breakfast.
The cake, which was created by Cakes and Fancies, was topped with beautiful sugar roses, and featured embellished details which added to the Christmas glitz.
As their wedding took place just a week before Christmas, Rachel and Rob decided to postpone their honeymoon. The couple plan to take a family holiday with baby Elizabeth to Tenerife early in the New Year, before going on an official honeymoon to Lake Garda as a couple later on in the summer.
Their only regret for the big day is that they didn’t hire a videographer so they could relive the special moments over again and again!
