Rachel & Peter’s Real Wedding

***Benjamin Roberts Bride of the Month September 2015*** Rachel and Peter got married at Coworth Park in a classically elegant wedding attended by 100 of their closest friends and family. The bride looked absolutely beautiful in a mermaid shaped wedding dress with lots of lace detail by Benjamin Roberts.

The Wedding Ceremony

Rachel stayed at Coworth Park the night before the wedding so she didn’t need wedding transport, but as Peter runs a chauffeur company he chose to travel in one of his own cars, a Jaguar XJL.

Peter and Rachel were married in a civil service at Coworth Park. They made sure their ceremony was very laidback and full of laughter. All the guests said they’d never been to a wedding ceremony full of so much laughter before, which is what the couple wanted. The pianist, who was also the toastmaster, even played ‘The Great Escape’ theme song to Peter ahead of Rachel’s arrival!

Callum walked his mum down the aisle – he said he wanted to do it to make his parents proud, and they definitely were. As they walked a pianist played ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri. Rachel chose this song as every time their daughter hears it she pretends to walk down the aisle.

To seal their marriage vows, Peter and Rachel exchanged wedding bands bought in Dubai, where they also got the engagement ring from. They chose white gold bands with rose gold edging.
