Rachel found her dress when she and a friend ducked into Kathryn S Trueman Bridal in Morpeth to shelter from the rain. They spent a whole afternoon drinking champagne and trying on dresses when Rachel found her perfect wedding dress – an A-line Donna Lee gown, which she had customised to make it unique. The dress featured floral detailing on the hip and flattering ruched detailing across the bodice. She altered the gown so the straps came slightly off the shoulder to suit her shape.
Rachel wore a bespoke hair piece which matched the floral detailing on her dress, and a pearl earring and bracelet set which was bought for her by her mother. Benjamin Adams shoes completed the look.
The bride carried an elegant ivory bouquet of roses, peonies and gypsophila, which were created by a family friend.
