On her wedding day, Pree wore a stunning traditional Assamese mekhela-chadar in cream and gold, which her mum had picked out for her. The mekhela-chadar was made from two pieces of sumptuous silk, embroidered with golden thread, and tied by the makeup artist. Pree trusted her mum to pick out the perfect outfit, as she has an innate sense of style.
For her wedding jewellery, Pree wore an ornate gold set given to her by her mum, which included a matching necklace, earrings, maang tikka and jhoomar. They were quite heavy, but they made Pree feel like Indian royalty!
Tom’s mum also gave Pree a stunning gold bracelet as a wedding present, which she is yet to take off.
The bride entered her wedding ceremony on a massive golden palki, which was shaped like a swan. Her parents had organised it as a surprise, and it was so heavy that several family members had to carry it!
