Pollyanna and Alex were set up by some of their closest friends. Their wedding was a true reflection of their personalities – it was a creative day with lots of fun details which accurately represented them and their relationship.
Pollyanna and Alex’s Creative and Colourful Wedding
After being set up by their friend Becky at her birthday party, Alex and Pollyanna realised they had a lot in common. They arranged to go on a date to the Natural History Museum as they both love museums, and after they left it started to snow!
After dating for around 18 months, the couple decided to move in together and started to talk about getting engaged. They had to wait a little longer than planned to get engaged as the couple who introduced them pipped them to the post!
Whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds in October 2014, Alex proposed. They were staying in a picturesque National Trust cottage and he popped the question after a cosy breakfast on the Saturday morning. It was a crisp autumnal day so they walked four miles to the nearest village so they could get signal on their phones to share the happy news!
Pollyanna said she didn’t want an engagement ring as she often loses jewellery. She said she’d rather have round the world tickets! Alex bought her a beautiful pearl studded ring anyway, and for their honeymoon they’re setting off half way around the world.
