After almost a decade together, Paul and Francesco celebrated their love for each other by becoming the first couple to marry at the REP Theatre in Birmingham. Their wedding day was seriously stylish with a monochrome colour scheme and a quintessentially British dress code that included hats.
The First Wedding at the REP Theatre
Paul and Francesco were the first couple to celebrate their wedding and marry on stage at the REP Theatre in Birmingham.
The pair originally met through a friends’ meet up group online and straight away knew they had something special. Whilst they never got engaged as such, after four months of dating they promised themselves to one another whilst on holiday in Florence.
After nearly ten years together, Paul and Francesco decided to tie the knot officially and legally. It was the next natural step for the couple, after nine and a half years of love and commitment.
They chose not to have rings as it was more about sharing their day and the celebration of their relationship with their friends and family. The grooms decided not to follow a traditional formula, but instead planned their wedding day according to what they wanted. This included a stylish theatre wedding, exquisite Mediterranean food and a hat competition!
