The wedding ceremony started at 5pm, and the bride arrived in a convertible vintage Rolls Royce, whilst the groom and the other guests arrived on a classic red London bus!
The ceremony took place in the stunning grand ballroom of the Palazzo Parisio. Patricia had seen a picture of it in a magazine and knew she wanted to get married there from that moment on. Paul and Patricia’s daughter walked down the aisle as the only bridesmaid, in a BHS dress, before the bride walked in with her brother James.
They walked down the aisle together to the sound of their cousin singing Eva Cassidy’s ‘Songbird’, before singing ‘Ave Maria’ as the couple signed the register. During the wedding ceremony Patricia’s sister gave a reading, and Ellie read out a poem called ‘Now the Family is Complete’.
Paul and Patricia exchanged wedding rings they’d bought from Goldsmiths, and were pronounced husband and wife!
