Seeing as Patricia and Conor got engaged whilst living in New Zealand, they left it up to Patricia’s mother and sister to choose the wedding venue.
Having heard brilliant reviews about The Burrendale Hotel and Country Club in Newcastle, Co. Down, a visit was definitely on the cards. The wedding date was booked shortly afterwards and this special venue, located in a seaside town at the foot of the Mourne Mountains was to host 110 guests for a wonderful wedding breakfast on the afternoon of October 6th, 2012.
The wedding reception room was decorated with elements of teal and tall vases featuring lovely lilies. A menu of potato and leek soup, followed by a chicken main and a trio of desserts was served. A buffet was then served later on in the evening featuring chip cones.
