Adam and Pascal became husband and wife in a ceremony at Buile Hill Park on the sunniest day of the year. The bride was driven to the ceremony in their own car, a red VW Golf, which is 24 years old!
It was a very stop-start journey as her stepdad wasn’t familiar with driving the tricky car, but they made it! The bride carried a bright bouquet, with yellow and pink roses mixed with thistles. She didn’t plan on having a bouquet but her mum insisted on buying her one!
Pascal didn’t see any of her guests as she walked down the aisle – she just focused on was Adam’s grinning face. After the ceremony, throughout which the bride and groom had constantly gripped hands, everyone spilled outside to enjoy the sunshine.
They popped open the boot of their old Golf to reveal a keg of ice cold ginger beer, which was served to the guests as a post ceremony treat!
