Olivia is an event planner herself, and even though she could have had them walking down the aisle within 8 weeks of their engagement, the couple decided to plan their wedding for 2 years and 2 months later!
Olivia actually saw her dream wedding dress on a flyer at a local wedding fair in Southsea. Tracy from Twirl Bridal in Petersfield invited Olivia to come in to her new shop and try on ‘Grace’. The fifties style gown with a v-length back and delicate lace was perfect and even though Olivia tried on 10 more dresses, just to make sure, she knew that she’d found ‘the one’ from the very beginning. She had the dress customised to be the perfect length and she teamed her gown up with a pair of shoes from Rachel Simpson along with accessories from Etsy.
Olivia had 5 bridesmaids; a combination of close friends and family members who have all played an important part of her life. The bridesmaids wore fifties style gowns in a navy blue shade with red netting underneath to create a truly unique look. They teamed their dresses up with red, peep-toe shoes that were a bargain at BHS, and unique bracelets that Olivia had found over the 2 years that she had to plan the wedding.
