Olivia’s very talented aunty Janine created the couple’s wedding cake. It was the most amazing wedding cake that Olivia had ever seen, and was designed to look just like a sandcastle. The tiers consisted of lemon, chocolate and Victoria sponge cake and to complete the look, British and Italian flags were poking out of the cake; Italian flags represented the couple's honeymoon destination! Kate, a friend of the couple, who works at Birdseed Keepsakes also designed a perfect, personalised cake topper which stood next to the cake and now takes pride of place on the couples new bookshelf at home.
During his speech, groom Matt revealed the first destination of the couples incredible Italian honeymoon! They were due to set off on an incredible 18 day honeymoon which had been planned from start to finish by Matt himself. The couple flew out to Italy in British Airways Club Europe seats and then took the train home from Verona via Paris, and then on to the EuroStar.
