Nikki thought she knew what her dream wedding dress looked like – in her head she would say her vows in a huge dress with a long train and one shoulder. Instead, a Google search revealed Nikki’s perfect dress: a short, 1950s gown with a sweetheart bodice and gorgeous lace detailing. It was totally different to the dress she imagined herself in, but it worked perfectly with her wedding.
Tom hired his wedding suit from Moss Bros, and chose a traditional black morning suit with pinstriped trousers. The best men wore grey suits, with waistcoats that matched the groom’s.
The couple really kept to their 1950s vintage theme, and their photographer hired the ‘Daisy’ bike from Living the Cream, as a great photo prop. The bike featured a traditional wicker basket, decked in bunting, and had the lyrics to ‘Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two)’ painted on the side, ideal for a wedding!
