Newly married Nikki and Tom set up a retro suitcase for their guests to place well wishes, advice and money towards their honeymoon in. They also had a vintage bird cage for guests to put their cards in.
The couple kept their vintage theme evident in every part of their day, and designed their own stationery for Tom’s dad to create and print. They decided not to have a table plan, but instead allowed guests to place their name card where they wanted on the long U-shaped table. Only two seats were reserved – for the bride and groom!
The tables were decorated with long floral arrangements that incorporated the sunflowers in the bride’s bouquet. It was important to Nikki that sunflowers were included as that was her granddad’s nickname for her, and it suited the yellow in their theme. The floral arrangements came from Abundiflora in Glastonbury.
