Ivory Wedding Cake
Nicola and Dominic spent ages scouring the internet in their quest to find the perfect wedding cake. When they found the image of their ideal cake, Nicola’s aunt created it for them. Their dream wedding cake consisted of four tiers of sponge and chocolate cake, topped with white icing and ivory sugar roses, delicately dusted with a hint of purple to match the colour scheme. The cake also featured lace detailing, which tied in with the vintage theme.
The delicious cake was cut up and served to guests as part of the evening buffet.
Following the wedding, the happy couple headed off on a mini moon to the Lake District, where they revisited the scene of the proposal and opened their wedding cards, as they drank champagne with strawberries.
They later headed off for a week in Spain just the two of them to relax and enjoy each other’s company as husband and wife.
